Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

.

..
Forgiveness,
Is more than saying sorry
Forgiveness,
Means accepting peoples flaws

-Anna Faris

Forgiving can be a difficult task for some. Especially when the person who is at fault never came to apologize.

Have you ever experienced the act of being FORCED to forgive someone by a higher authority? And once you did, that someone gave you a smirk indicating: he/she had won. (>>.<<)
My mom used to do that to me all the time specially when it involves my older sibling.

Frankly, I really admire someone who forgives easily to others for any mistakes/wrong they’ve done. My father told me once in the car while on the way to KL the other day, about the story of a man and his neighbor.

There was a wise-kind-gentle man who had this one mad-angry neighbor. Every day the neighbor would throw his garbage at the gentle man’s door! Then, one day, the garbage stopped appearing. The kind man wondered why and asked people about what had happened to his neighbor. He was told that the neighbor was sick, in bed. So, what the kind hearted man did was; he went and visited his angry neighbor to make sure he’s ok and to wish him well. The neighbor felt so embarrassed that he then embraced the kind man character when he recovered and became angry no more.

Many has narrated that it was the story of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and his Jewish neighbor. However, since there is no authentication of the source I dare not claim that it’s a hadeeth. ( And the story is a bit more different.. hihi)

But lets put aside religion facts and lets emphasize on the jeez of the story. What’s most important is that, this story teaches us the value of always to be forgiving. Because by showing good virtues to others, it will make one realize that there’s a chance of being happy again (and sing along Barney’s “Happy Happy” song together with your friends).

Being forgiving to me is like keeping yourself away from becoming revengeful.

When we’re angry or full of vengeance, not only we’ll be depressed, but we will also constantly be giving out negative thoughts to ourselves and our surrounding. These thoughts will offer us a ‘not good’ feeling. And that’s pretty much…..STRESSFULL!!

However, I understand that some people have the tendency to take advantage of the constant-forgiver. Huh tell me about it. I’ve experienced it my whole life (no, I’m not ever the forgiver nor am I the advantage taker, I’m just the OBSERVER). To those people, well, I just wish they change.

Yes, I’m not an easy forgiver myself; but I tend to let things pass by and forgive anyway. I just don’t know how to be mad at someone for so long specially when its for a small matter like a stupid misunderstanding. But somehow, it would be nice if someone would apologize and forgive and move along with the world (wth am I saying..lol..) .

Remember: Apologizing doesn’t always mean you are wrong and the other person is right, it just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.

XOXO;
Ameera

Fan mail ♥ ^_^

.
Dear Abdul Rahman AsSudais;

You have the most wonderful voice ever in the world mashaAllah. The voice is small yet serene. Whenever I’m bored listening to my GLEE and Chris Brown’s songs in my playlist, I’ll always turn to you.

Eventhough it’s the same surah; over and over again. I’ll never get bored. I swear I play it not just at night to make me go to sleep (actually coz I’m scared of the legends of the hostel ghosts .. hahaha.. joking :P), but also when I want the time for myself.

Its calming just to hear your voice. And sometimes it sounds so cute! Chipmunks voices are annoying, yours is not. I swear to God. And you don’t even need to collaborate with AKON or ANYONE to make me like any of your recitations. Seriously.

Furthermore, you make it easier for me to memorize some surahs in the Quran due to your amazing voice and tune. I feel more eager to read the Quran more often and to play around with my recitation with your tone. (haha.. yeah.. I can be THAT lame..I still like to play 'pretending-to-be'up til today XP)

May God Bless You Always. And your so chubby you make me wanna mammam your cheeks!! Mammam!! MMMMmmm!! MmmaaaaammmMM!!! AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaarghh!! Cutey pie!!! >.<

Choose Me Pick Me Love Me And Dont Hate Me...

.

Life is not just said as a gamble, but a jungle too; where the strong conquers and the weak perish.

Just look around. Everywhere name it; in school, what our society does is compete compete and competing to be the best. To be chosen. To be the one. To sit on that spot; THAT chair. To be THE man; holding the arms of THAT lady.

If life was simple, and WE are not picky, ‘living’ would be a very delightful experience- “ no problemas”. The problem is; we are not simple. In fact we are categorized as complex organisms by my text book.

We all want certain things in life; to satisfy our desires, aim and goal. I'm not just emphasizing on the apprentice cands here but am also talking on behalf of Trump.

Have you ever heard about the story of the perfect lady?

This perfect lady rejects every men who had asked for her hand; saying that those men aren’t perfect enough for her. Until one day that she found herself her perfect guy and told him that she would like him to become her husband and that perfect guy rejected her and said he is yet to find someone who is perfect for himself.

Or what about the story of King Arthur?

For those that are not familiar with the story of King Arthur; the story is about a sword that stuck in a stone. The one who’s able to pull it out will rule the kingdom. Coz according to the ‘sword’ a.k.a Excalibur, it can only be owned by a ‘true king’.

See how fussy life is? They are even pickier than I am! (And my mom complains about my ‘particularity’..sheesh..)

Okay, I bet some are wondering like: what’s the relation between my statement on competing and being picky. I don’t know how to explain this.. but I hope with this example; you’ll get to know how they are related..

Ali , Ahmad and Abu are all good, intelligent and smart guys who are competing for the number one spot in becoming the ‘Smartest Guy Alive’. The winner gets a YAMAHA KEYBOARD to be given to Princess Ameera the next day. *nyaaahaha- I luv making my own fairytale*

THEY: are competing with each other

The Smartest Guy Alive position is the : PICK-AN; A fussy choosy ‘thing’! ( You’re the one who’s making my life MISERABLE!!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO WANT YOU!!)

Nothing wrong with being either one of them. But I have some advice (hahaha.. call me Esther Hicks) for them both

Lets put our shoes in "competitors" position first.

These guys are the best among the others.

In most competitions, there would be a time where one can’t rely on anyone else’s mistakes or slipups anymore. There would come to a time where everybody is at par with everyone. Nobody is weaker than the other.

The real fight begins now. It is the battle between you and yourself.

To offer the best of you and what you’ve got. No one else matters anymore. It’s all about you again. About showing your uniqueness, about exploring yourself, about acknowledging your capability, what you can do, how far you could go. It’s all only you.

And if PICK-AN (chooser/picker) don’t find you good enough for them; then don’t give up. In the animal kingdom as I said earlier, the weak dies. But we are not animals. So, why do we have to follow THEIR rules? And just because we loss it doesn’t mean that we are the weak ones. We are fighters! Come on man!

DO I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF?? THE REAL BATTLE IS BETWEEN YOU AND YOURSELF!

Therefore, we should not quit. Because what you’ve done to reach what and where you are today is not something easy and you should never regret it. Instead, open your eyes for better opportunities. Maybe that thing you aimed for is actually not perfect enough for you anyway and that ‘perfect THING’ is still in-search for you. Who knows, right? :)

NOW lets talk about the ‘Pick-er/ Pick-AN’/chooser (wat the fish... =_=)

Lets not blame them for being very picky. We all have our own reasons for everything right. :)Try not be irrational and think logically. If you were given so many choices to choose from; ie: watermelon; you’d definitely choose the big sweet juicy one right? Rather than a big but less sweet ones? I mean, you’re paying a lot of money for it; (RM7 perkg IS a lot)…u’d definitely want to pick the best right? But sometimes, one thing we should remember is to not be too particular with stuff and try accept things the way they are. Because if you expect perfection too much in a person/thing; and it may not come out to your expectation; you are the one who's going to be disappointed the most.

In conclusion : Santai lah braiiiii... (yes, I'm addicted to inianuar's video blog 'eeew')

Hmmm… it might not make any sense to you…

I’m sorry for my way of conveying my message is….very….COMPLEX(and weird)…coz as said earlier… I’m a complex organism.. hihi.. I’m soo sleepy now is 1:21 a.m already… good night all..

This journal is actually a note to myself...fml...nyt..

Race you to the next Friday!

.

Ever wondered why many Muslims like greeting ‘Jumuah Mubarakah’ every Friday?

Ever tried to ask or never even bothered to?

Ahaha! Now that you got yourself clicked the link (which leads to my blog) you have no choice but to know about it! (nyehnyeh.. u got into my trap!)

I know that I am only acquainted with just a little knowledge about the day; ‘Friday’. But, that small quarter of information I have on Fridays is enough for me to be thankful that I am still being given the chance to embrace God’s Grace on this blissful day.

***

*FLASHBACK*

***

When I was a kid, I used to hate Fridays. I don’t know if its due to the geography of the place I lived in (my house was situated right opposite the beach, a place called “Chendering”), but Friday has always been HOT!

And the smell of Friday is like vomit. And the Ustazah who teaches my sisters and I Quran will come in the evening. What a bore…I hate to see her thin cane..Felt like being treated like a cattle..(but i love her :D)

The only reason why I loved Friday when I was a kid, was for the Bollywood movies they showed on TV2 and the fact that my dad doesn’t have to go to his clinic in the evening.

However, as I grew older, I’ve learnt to appreciate Fridays more. Honestly, it took a ‘looong’ while. Haha.

So, what’s so great about Friday again?

I was born on that day! And my mom will cook Arabic food. And my house will have the nice smell of bakhour (it smells no more of vomit :P) ^_^… No, seriously Ameera, other than “it’s all about your world”

Other than that, comes the Islamic view on why Friday is special.

Abu Lubaabah ibn ‘Abd al-Mundhir (r.a) said the Prophet (s.a.w) said:

“Friday is the master of days, and the greatest of them before Allah. It is greater before Allah than the day of Al-Adha and the day of Al-Fitr. It has five characteristics:
- Allah created Adam (a.s)
- Allah sent Adam (a.s) down to the earth
- Allah caused Adam (a.s) to die
- a time when a person does not ask Allah for anything but He gives it but not asking for anything haraam
- the Hour will begin.

There is no angel who is close to Allah, no heaven, no earth, no wind, no mountain and no sea that does not fear Friday.”

(Ibn Maajah, 1084)

Al-Sanadi said “They fear Friday” means they fear the onset of the Hour. This indicates that all created beings are aware of the days and they know that the Day of Resurrection will come on a Friday.

Regarding to the day of resurrection, and the different days by other Religion of the Book, It was narrated that Abu Hurairah and Hudhaifah (r.a) said the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:

“Allah led those who came before us away from Friday. The Jews had Saturday, and the Christians had Sunday. Then Allah brought us and Allah guided us to Friday. So there is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and thus they will follow us on the Day of Resurrection. We are the last of the people of this world but we will be the first on the Day of Resurrection, and we will be dealt with before all others.”

(Muslim, 856)

It is the day with which Allaah has exclusively favoured this ummah, and from which He led the People of the Book astray before them, as it says in al-Saheeh, where it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“The sun has never risen or set on any day better than Friday. Allaah guided us to it and led the people away from it. The people are behind us in this respect. It (Friday) is for us, Saturday is for the Jews and Sunday is for the Christians.”

(Narrated by Ahmad, 10305, classed as saheeh by Ibn Khuzaymah, 3/114).

From what I know, Friday is a day full of barakah. Its like God is having a “blessing/reward GIVEAWAY of the week” for us. Furthermore, Friday is the only day I know which has it’s own Surah in the Quran (And I memorized it! Nyehehe *proud* aHaHaHa !! u guys r LOSERS! :P hihi jk!! I dun mean it..)

Once we know why Fridays special, then we ourselves will come to realize that Fridays should not be taken for granted and insyaAllah we shall make use of the day fully.

When I was little, my ustazah used to bait me saying that every time, if I do good on Fridays, my reward will double up. Hmm.. I don’t know whether its true or she’s just saying it but it made me feel motivated to be rascal-less (lol, is there even a word?).

Some other virtues would be (this is taken from a link) (if ur tired, just read the highlighted words. The others are just elaboration):

1. – In Fajr prayer, on Friday recite the Soorahs (al-Sajdah, no. 32) and (al-Insaan, no. 76).

2. – It is mustahabb (recommended) to send lots of blessings upon the Prophet SAWS on the day of Friday and the night before, because he said: “Send lots of blessings upon me on Friday and the night before.” (Narrated by al-Bayhaqi, 3/249; classed as saheeh (sound) by al-Arna’oot).

3. –The people of Paradise will be brought closer (to Allaah) on the Day of Resurrection and they will see Allaah sooner, commensurate with how close they were to the imam on the day of Jumu’ah and how early they came to Jumu’ah prayers.

4. – The command to do ghusl (take a bath for the purpose of purification) on Friday; this command is most emphatic, and Wearing perfume on Friday; this is better than wearing perfume on any other day of the week. And wear the best clothes one has on Friday. Imaam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad that Abu Ayyoob said: “I heard the Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, ‘Whoever takes a bath on Friday, puts on perfume if he has some, wears his best clothes then goes out , walking in a dignified manner until he reaches the mosque, then he prostrates in prayer if he wants and does not disturb anybody, then he remains quiet until the imaam comes out and he prays, that will be an expiation from one Friday to the next.’” (Narrated by Ahmad in al-Musnad, 23059; classed as hasan by al-Ana’oot).

5. Cleaning the teeth with the siwaak (tooth stick); this is better than using the siwaak on any other day.

6. Going to the prayers early.

7. – Keeping oneself busy with prayer, dhikr (remembering Allaah) and reading Qur’aan until the imaam comes out to give the khutbah (sermon).

8. – Listening attentively to the khutbah.

9. Reading Soorat al-Kahf (no. 18) during the day of Friday. It was narrated that the Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on a Friday, light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine on him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven from one Friday to the next.” (Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/368; classed as saheeh by al-Arna’oot).

10. – On Friday there is the “hour of response” which is an hour in which no Muslim asks Allaah for something but He will grant it. In al-Saheehayn it is narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘On Friday there is an hour in which no Muslim asks for something whilst he is standing in prayer, but it will be given to him” – and he demonstrated the shortness of that time with his hands. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 883; Muslim, 1406).

To list out, it will be too long. So what I can do is, I’ll attach a few links here; and if you’re interested to know, then you can check them out. It’s something worth reading. :)

http://www.deenislam.co.uk/friday.htm

http://sharingknowledgeofislam.blogspot.com/2010/11/speciality-about-friday.html

http://islamqa.com/en/ref/13497

Those are the lucky three. But I bet there are lots more other sites, maybe better than this.

If I were a guy, I would be more grateful that there’s Friday. This is because, they have lots more advantages in getting rewards than women on that day. Well actually, its just the same and a woman’s job is easier but its not as ‘sophisticated’ as men’s job for getting the reward.

Its like; we do this and that = yeay reward. Its free.

Unlike guys; they go to the mosque early +Friday prayers = get reward. It’s done with effort and it looks so pro!

Hmmm… but to think of going every Friday to the mosque …

..

*blekh*.. i take back my words.. I hardly go for my tilawah class on Thursdays let alone something like Friday prayer.. hihi.. I’m happy to be a WOMAN!

*Shouts* WOMAN! WOMAN!hihi

So now I bet some of us cant wait for the next Friday to come right? (just say yes, so i can stop yapping already)

Hmm.. although Friday has past for this week.. I'm up for TGIF anytime! =D Ribs would be deliziouza! picasa mikasa sukasa mikasa. any takers? :p

K night. sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepyyyyy

To have a friend, is to be a friend

.

“A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.”

Hey you guys.. miss me? :D How’ve you been doing?

Yesterday my friends and I went for an evening outing to Teluk Cempedak. Gotta, HAFTA love the beach! And monkeys?? :-S I’m very much thankful to be surrounded with friends like mine. Coz they’re always there not only when I wanna have fun but also when I need advice or help. Furthermore, they’re not afraid to correct me whenever I do something far beyond right. They’re like the family I’ve never wanted. :P And despite the differences among the four of us, we could still tolerate and learn a lot from each other.

“Friends are like rainbows, They brighten up your life once you've been through a storm”

Some other people, I realize, do stick with their cliques too, during bad times and good times. However, some of them in some way tend to deny each other’s faults when they clearly know the wrong.

Denying and keeping each other’s faults as a secret are two different things.

Sometimes it is hard to tell someone about their faults. Especially when their mood is not aligned with the real situation, they might not even accept our advice at that time because they can only see their point of view at that time. Therefore, the disagreement or advice you have in mind for your friend is put on halt, and his/her fault remained silent until the right time comes. (summary: fault left a secret)

Denying, on the other hand, means agreeing to the fact that: what their friend does wrong is correct. I don’t know if this is a way of saying “I have your back and you have my support” or it’s because they themselves are doing the same fault as the friend is. In other words, they don’t want to admit that their wrong too. But to me, this shouldn’t be the way.

“Being a good friend doesn’t mean lying to avoid hurt feelings.”

When I want a friend, I want someone who is truthful and not afraid to admit my faults or theirs. Someone, who will stop me from being astray even when they themselves are. Someone, who would tell me to always do good even when they don’t. Some who doesn’t mind being hurt and hurting for the best of me.

“A true friend is the person who no matter how you treated them the day before still keeps their promise to stand by you the next.”

Because to me, that’s what friends are for.

When you love your friends, you don’t want to see them fall. And you only wish the best for them, hoping they would be the best for you too.

Ahh… I’m gonna miss campus life. I have another few months till I graduate. And after that, we’re all gonna live separate lives. Some of us will get married, some will further their studies, some might be working. Hmmmh *sigh*.. But I hope we’ll always be like the girls in “Sex And The City”.

Dear girlfriends.. guess who is who?

:) Good night all..

I have changed ...

.
Have you ever sneezed so hard till the tissue tears apart?? I just did. Now that’s THE definition of coolness. B-).

Hi everyone! Welcome and thank you for visiting my mind-numbing blog! It’s the perfect site for you to read in order to get yourself to sleep or your cat to bed.

Haha . joking. I know my blog is OWZEMZ!!-read: Awesome.. >.<

"Are you changing?
You are changing
We are changing
Let's change together

-Mafia Bianca LLC; 'I am changing'.

Some people are horrified with changes. They hate the fact that ‘NOW IT’S DIFFERENT’. If possible, they would want time, to stay still.

Kittens to stay cute. Pierce Brosnan to never age. And FACEBOOK to never revolutionize their site.

If you’re a fast pick up, you should already realize by now that I’m one of the “some people”. And I’m frustrated by the change of facebook profile page. But then again, let’s still keep your eyes wide open and not talk about me. Let’s talk generally from my telescopic view.

Have you ever experienced being close to someone when you were young and suddenly became completely strangers 10 years after that? Okay maybe 10 years is pretty much too long to be apart from each other, how about2 years then?

Or

How bout when you’re sent to boarding school and came back after that just to find out your room was paint in a different color because your mother thinks the old wallpaper was too gothic?

Personally, I don’t HATE changes. But I must confess that it takes time for me to adjust with a new environment.

To me, there’s no one to blame if things change coz I don’t see there’s a wrong to it. It’s a part of the life cycle. But to change for the better or for worse, it’s up for us to decide. We are big and ugly enough to know what’s wrong and right.

However, sometimes, I feel sad when I have to encounter this one feeling. The feeling; of having to accept the change in something that I really like just the way it is. It’s not like it’s a bad change, but it’s just gonna be different, you see.

I wonder when my sisters get married later, will our family still be like ‘this’?

…..
…..
…..

Therefore, I think I should give more appreciation to what I have now and treasure each moment before it changes.

Again…it’s all about me.. -_-“

Whocares.. its my blog..:P

.
Happy flu day everyone.. -__-".

To know me is to read till the end! I'm not scary! grrr!! >=(

.

Just last two weeks, I got someone telling me that one of her friends is scared of greeting me thinking that I will ignore her after that.

And there's a friend of mine too, a senior, who told me that the guys think that I'm arrogant just because I don't look at them when I walk.

And today, an anonymous asked me on my formspring: "will you approve my fbook request today"?

Oh my God! Hahahaa.. I apologize if I were to give you a negative impression about myself. Huhu.. I'm sorry.

Thing is, I'm always spaced out! According to my mom I'm too "self absorbed" but my father has another view on it; he told me I'm too "self-centered".

Either way, I totally disagree with them! LoL.

Seriously! I seriously dont know how many times should I actually tell you guys how I am like. * i think I've talked about this before in my previous post* but maybe action speaks louder than words huh? hmmm.. huu!! i dont intend to be arrogant! I'm so sorry!! hahahaha..

Okay, well there are things you should know about me...

.....I'm shy......

hahhahahahahahah....

okay.... maybe that doesnt make any sense...

Okay okay lets be serious.. let me EXPLAIN myself and these facts are 100% true I can bet you on it.

  1. When I walk alone, (its not just to boys but anyone) I tend to avoid eye contact. Coz I'm usually on my headphones. Yesterday was a great example when Balqis had to hold my arms to wake me up from my twilight zone. Not an encouraging habit. :P. If I'm not on my headphone, then usually I just focus on the place where I want to go. With this, my time wont be that wasted ( I have a weird mentality...just ignore it). But most of the time, I usually walk with my head down. I'm not sleepy!! But I just like to look and think about stuff...without any disturbance.. =P
  2. Secondly, I will greet you back! hahaha.. seriously.. I dont know why people say I have a 'musang/catung' ( moody) face. I do smile but sometimes I feel shy *this is real*, therefore I usually hold my head downwards or do a 50 cent look. :S.. But yeah..maybe I don't smile that much huh?
THOSE ARE WHEN I'M ALONE.
But if I'm with my friends, I'm 'normal'.. hahaha...

And about me ignoring facebook requests. Well, actually, its because my facebook is something very intimate. Hehe. I like to keep certain things in private. If I'd like to share, I'd just put it on my blog or tweeter. Facebook is usually for family members and close friends only. Or few friends/family of my friends. Mostly, the people on my facebook are the ones I've met in person. But it doesnt mean that if I dont approve some people on my facebook I'm gonna be mean to them. There are other means of 'connecting' with me like my blog (yes, I'm promoting it), formspring and twitter (tho its quite dead). Right?

Another thing is about people thinking that I'm a serious thinker and a very pious person. ( This, I got it from my formspring questions as well)

FRANKLY, I'm not at all!! I just like to analyze about some things and make my own summary through my own point of view. Its not that its all correct. Some might disagree to it and I dont mind if you do. Seriously. I'm just spilling out my point of view. I just like to share and sometimes debate. Its an intellectual argument and I'm not here to tell you to dis or hate or like it. Its your choice.
But in real life, I'm usually the hmmm.. i wont say 'i'm-the-NOT-serious-one' but I wont actually talk much about this kind of things. I'm full of junk.. I watch E News and MTV 24/7 for God's sake! I'm not always serious and talk about boring stuff. =P

Secondly, I'm not PIOUS or even RELIGIOUS. I just love to talk about religion because its something interesting and because maybe I was brought up and filled in with that kind of environment. But (its not like i'm bragging kalau famili aku tu agung alright, i'm just explaining,) But one thing on why I like to talk about Islam is that because my family take Islam and life as one. We dont have to plan for a specific time to talk about Islam. Its all the way. And I'd like to instill that feeling with everyone else. I mean , what I'm trying to say is that, although I'm not taking a course on Islamic views,(I'm taking Biological Medicine) it doesnt mean that I'm not able to talk and discuss about something of my passion. But I'm not saying that I'm always right and I dont make mistakes. But I try not to reDO my mistakes once I know I'm wrong. FYI:"Trying" doesn't mean that I "achieved success with my try" hehe... *wth m i talkg bout

I think that's enough about me for today. Lets update with my FYP (final year project), today (later) I'm going to Jabor Landfil/ Sungai Karang and Taman Pertanian to take soil samples. And in 10 minutes time, I need to see my supervisor. And just now, my Tilawah Quran class was canceled. Great! Mandi early for nothing.. I wanna graduate now! now! now!!!! :(

Goodnight bloggers, tweetans, fbookers, youtubies... ZZzzzz

.
Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "i love you"
Birds singin’ in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me

Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you’ll miss me
While I’m alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I’m longin’ to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

(instrumental break)

Stars shining up above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "i love you"
Birds singin’ in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

Yes, dream a little dream of me

Dream a little dream of me - Louis Armstrong
