I say a lil prayer for you.. :)

This morning was a really boring day as I had been left alone in the house while others went out to make their hair! Hmmph! So what i did the whole morning was browsing the net to check out news at Yahoo!, download John Mayer's pictures *loves* and etc.

Among the "etc-s" was this article I came across with; regarding Solah(prayers).

Yes, I do realize that this has not been my first post on this topic. But I'd like to re-discuss about it JUST as a reminder to me, you and everyone who's interested.

Arghh.. sometimes, I feel a bit discouraged on wanting to write about these kinda things basically religious stuff . It's because I do not want you to have the idea that I'm an angel (okay, this is a bit overexxegrative lol) .

What I mean to say is, I'm not that good either. I have missed a few prayers myself . And that is why I keep on writing about these kinda things, you know, so that I remind myself alongside sharing good things with others. Its not like I'm SUBJECTING YOU TO PRAY BECAUSE OMG, I LIKE, NEVER MISSED A PRAYER IN MY LIFE, AND SOME OF YOU ARE OH SO STUPID COZ YOU NEVER TOOK PRAYERS SERIOUSLY AND NOW THAT YOU HAVE READ MY BLOG, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FOLLOW MY FOOTSTEPS or something like dat...

(mm.. maybe no one actually thought about it like that... argh i'm paranoid!)

Anyway, again as a reminder to myself and you; prayers are very important. We need to try our best to not miss it. I took this from an article of a website. Its a sahih hadeeth narrated by Hurayth ibn Qubaysah, saying :

I came to Madeenah and prayed, ‘O Allaah, send me a righteous companion.’
I went and sat with Abu Hurayrah and said: ‘I asked Allaah to bless me with a
righteous companion; tell me a hadeeth that you heard from the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so that I may benefit

He said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) say that the first thing for which a person will be brought
to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is sound, he
will be successful, and if it is lacking in any way, he will be doomed. If his
obligatory prayers are lacking, the Lord will say: “Look and see whether My
slave has any voluntary prayers which may be used to make up what is lacking in
his obligatory prayers.” Then all his deeds will be examined and dealt with in
the same way.’

(Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 413; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2020).

While some of us might ask ourselves: "Hmmm... well.. I cant turn back time, can I? So happens now that I've missed some?"

Well, there's another hadith that might spare us quoting :

Abu Dawood reported from Anas ibn Hakeem al-Dabbi that he came to Madeenah
and met Abu Hurayrah. He said: “He asked me about my lineage so I told him about
it, then he said: ‘O young man, shall I not tell you a hadeeth?’ I said, ‘Of
course, may Allaah have mercy on you,’ and I think he mentioned it from the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

He said: ‘The first thing that people will be asked about on the Day of
Resurrection will be their prayers. Our Lord will say to His angels (although He
knows best): “Look at My slave’s prayers: are they complete or is something
lacking?” If they are complete, they will be recorded as such, but if something
is lacking,
He will say: “Look and see if My slave has any voluntary
prayers to his credit.” If this proves to be the case, He will say: “Make up his
(missing) obligatory prayers with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest of his
deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.’”
(Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2571)

(;_) Ya Allah, God is soo kind he makes me wanna grrr strangle while hugging Him soo bad!!)

link to these hadith: http://www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/610

In other words, increase our sunnah prayers. Solat tahajjud, Solat Tawbah and etc. Oh btw, do you know that according to another article I read on another website, it says that:

Multiple intentions are valid for voluntary prayers; they have greater reward
then a single intention, but less reward than performing each prayer separately.

So, if you think you can only afford to pray one sunnah prayer at that time, why dont you multiple your intension? Nothing to lose, right? Actually, you should really check out that link. Its kinda interesting.

Now, lets go a biiiiiiiiiiit deeper and discuss about one particular voluntery prayer: Solah Tawbah (the prayer of repentance) .

I bet everyone is familiar with this solah right? I'm not gonna talk particularly about the solah (haha! gotcha!) but more towards our view on it. But if your interested in learning more about it, please visit : (http://www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/98030 ) .

Have you ever heard from, I dunno, maybe some of your friends(or you yourself) who'd say something like : " Its okay, let me do this thing first( i.e:gossip). I'll pray solat tawbah tonight. "

And the next day, there you are , seeing yourself doing the same thing all over again.

Personally, from my point of view, I dont think God meant that you can keep doing whatever sins you want and after you pray solah tawbah you'll be forgiven. To me, that's a joke! It encourages someone to do more sins, coz they know whatever it is, they'll be forgiven once they asked for repentence.

I think one's sin would be forgiven if that person REALLY REALLY repent and TRY his BEST to NOT make the SAME mistakes again. But God is forgiving, so we might have a chance that He'd forgive us again and again for the same mistakes.

But you know, you cant fool God. He knows our real intention. So, if you wanna make a joke outta yourself carry on pretending to repent. :)

I'm visiting Indonesia for a week (be home by the 3rd of Dec). Please pray for the health and safety of my family and I while we are there. *EXCITED!*

I understand, we human tend to make mistakes over and over again but its our intention that's most important. If we have tried but fail to achieve, then try again. :). And in order to better ourselves and to prevent ourselves from doing sins, we are adviced to increase our ibadah n good deeds.(i.e: Quran recitation, charity etc) With that, the thought of God in our mind will never perish.

"For the rest of my life I'll be with you. I'll stay by your side honest and true, 'til the end of my time I'll be loving you loving you"- Maher Zain

It reads “tolerance” in English.
What makes a relationship last? In my opinion being tolerant towards each other’s flaws is what holds a relationship together.

I once read;
“To be in a relationship is not to find a right partner, but to be one”.
Well said indeed. We can’t expect a person to be perfect while we just hang around here-full of faults. That’s pretty much unfair; don’t you think?

Every time I speak about relationships, I bet many ; especially readers of my age group would think about the boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. But I’m actually emphasizing more on marriage.

I know, who am I, right? To actually talk about relationships? I’m not yet married nor do I have boyfriends to compare my experiences with. But from what I’ve been observing, that’s one of the key points to a successful relationship.

Marriage is not a one day occasion. Its not like a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship where it’s sweet and fun all the time or where you can break up 100x and get together again the next day and pretend as if nothing happened.

It’s easy to be in a bf-gf relationship because you do not OWN each other. You don’t have responsibilities upon each other. Your family is not of your partner’s concern. You still have full independence on yourself and you are not tied up.

Marriage on the other hand is something different. It’s very sacred. It’s a life-time commitment. Especially for girls; your life now, is a life TO your husband. Your father gave you away for another man to take care of you. Therefore, your duty is now to obey and let your new man lead you. You are no longer under your father’s responsibility. You are now building your own empire with your husband. You become a team with him– where you and your husband actually DEPEND on each other for support. You should hold on to each other’s back; good times and hard times.

Therefore, the need to learn on how to understand and compensate with our partner is very important. "Marriage life can be very difficult", I’ve been told many times. But it doesn’t mean that we should give up that easily when we encountered with a misunderstanding. Work things out to make things better. If you simply give up, to me, it’s like you’re stopping the love to grow between you. And you might not even experience the best of him/her.

However, the word toleration should not be misunderstood by misusing it, or taking it for granted.

Misused toleration in my own words means tolerance with less practicality and more towards sympathy.

Case study example: You bear with your relationship although you are aware that your partner is a woman beater, abuser and a liar.
Reason you stay put: "Sabar separuh iman(Patience is apart of Iman)" or "True Love"
Result from the misusage: You get hurt a lot of times
Rational thing to do (according to me): Get out of the marriage before he kills you… seriously… he’s not worth your bruises and you’re not worth his lies.

Taking things for granted on the other hand is like this :
Example: You’re a wife and your hubby doesn’t like you hanging out with your friends when he’s back from work.
Story line: You got away with it all the time coz he’s not the type to quarrel over small matters. Probable outcome: If this happened too frequently, he might get fed up with everything and leave you.
Solution: Just be obedient, he just came back from work and all he wants is to spend his time at home with you; to tell about his stories and problems or just to have someone to comfort him. Go spend time with your friends when he’s away at work. Moron! Lool..jk..!! I swear.. :D

Marriage is always a win-win situation. We ladies need somebody responsible to hold on to and to look after us while those gentlemen need someone he loves to prepare good food for him, takes care of his clothes and give him well mannered offspring(read: children).

No one I know would want a non-lasting marriage. When you marry someone, I bet all you dream of are the good things in life. To have an everlasting years of happiness together and to die in each other’s arms. That’s not impossible. Not impracticable at all. But like any other things, we have to work for it. Life is hard and so is love. But history proved that some had them easy. And that’s what made life wonderful. When we strive for something we really love.

Although sometimes, I do have to agree, that in some situations, being apart (splitting) would be the best solution for everyone(involved). Well, that’s a different story. To me, as long as you’ve tried your best to make the relationship last, its good enough. If it doesn’t work out, then it just not meant to be. But at least you've tried hard enough, right?

So as a conclusion you must have these values for a lasting relationship:

Life isn’t as easy as theory. I might be wrong. This is just from my point of view. :)

"SECTIONALS" *exercising*

My younger sister recomended me to watch this video. According to her; Rachel Berry (especially in this video) reminds her so much about me that she cant stop laughing while watching it.

The same sister of mine also told me to watch Glee Season One episodes: "Ballads" and "Hello"- calling Rachel ; a "psycho-drama queen-perfectionist-freak".

Guess what? I'm not offended at all; thank you very much.

In fact I'm delighted to actually realize there's another sane person in this world besides me.

So what if I'm a drama queen? I love to express myself in the way I see it. Its not that I'm over exagerating, I just want people to experience the feeling that I'm feeling ; thus the elongated elaboration and explanation on everything; where some people like you, call it EXAGERATION.

And its not that I'm a perfectionist. I just like things to be in order and well planned; thus the calender obsession. And I fully understand on why Lea Michele (Rachel) asked the person to re-play the part in the song. Its because the pianist messed up with the notes/verse hence she cant represent herself at her best. How can she let someone judge her in that kind of situation? *Lea; I got your back, hunny.*

You just dont understand what people like us go through. And you just dont see life as we see it.

The end.

hehehe... lool.. I feel like sucha freak writing you
this post.. LOOOL!!
haha.. yeah.. i know am a
bit of a drama queen and
exagerative and spoilt and perfectionist and loves
to order people around..
hahahahaha.. hihi.. its hard being me.. LOOOOL!! k
k .. I'll try to change.. but
I think I'm cute like that... miiieeeow~~ =3

luv u much Alia.

A lil bit on what's Eid Adha and Hajj :)

Hi all. I'm here to wish all muslims :

For those who doesn't know anything about this celebration, you can google it or read it on wikipedia. :)

I wish I could tell you in detail bout this celebration, but my knowledge is not deep enough for me to give a speech on it. But nevertheless, I'll tell you a bit on what it's all about; from my understanding.

Idul Adha celebration is celebrated by muslims to remember about the willingness of prophet Ibrahim A.S to slaughter his son, Ismail A.S.

It is believed by muslims that , God wanted to test on prophet Ibrahim's love
for the religion. Whether prophet Ibrahim A.S were to obey His(God) orders or
not. Prophet Ibrahim was asked to slaughter his own son; Ismail (whom he
loved dearly..of course...its he's son
) by God's commands. Because prophet
Ibrahim was willing to sacrifice his own son for God and agreed to it,God had
passed Ibrahim 'the test of faith' (hihi) and
Ibrahim was told to replace Ismail with a goat. So instead, prophet Ibrahim
slaughhter the goat, not his son. Yeay! Happy ending~

The meat of the sacrificed animal (goat, cow, camel and other allowed animals by Islamic law) will be divided into 3 parts. 1st part is for family. 2nd part are to be given to neighbours and friends, 3rd part is to give to poor and needy as charity.

Before idul Adha is celebrated, some muslims go to Mekah to perform Hajj. Muslims are suppose to do Hajj at least once in our life time but only if we can afford to perform it. ( Like if we have enough money, good health and there is nothing stopping us from doing so. ) . The history of Hajj is loooooong and I'm not pro enough to write about it. But it's written quite nicely in wikipedia. You can check if you are interest to know. Hehe.. I know I'm soo 'malas' today. :) hehe..
okay night night :-*

Life is hard. No doubt about that. But it doesn’t mean that we should show it physically (or emotionally ) to prove it. What I’m about to share with you, is a short story of a girl:

One thing I realize I lack of is; patience. Everything I want should be done ‘snap-snap’! Or else, I’ll easily get fumed...

How do I define “hard times” in today’s post?
Hard time is when my keyboard is broken (because my cat vomited on it last few months) and no one fixed it while I was away in college.

And today, I’m home.

And I cant play.

Did I not tell the whole house that I needed it to be fixed before I come back? I know, I sound so demanding and spoilt right now, but the truth is I asked them a couple of times, and they keep PROMISING that they’ll send it to be fixed! But yet I still cant play 5 keys! Now the only musical instruments I have in the house are the ones that I cant play! Like the guitar, gambus or sita and a tabla! Its not like I’m from an African tribe and need a tabla to call for the rain!! Oh..sorry..I missed one more..My flute RECORDER when I was in Grade 5!

( QUIZ : Ey, just a question; is there any African aborigines , or are they all
considered aborigines? I’m not mocking or being sarcastic nor racist.. I just
wanna know… And I’m not talking about the whole Africa continent. I’m talking
about the Africans they show on TV; the bald men and ladies with lions as their
pets. Let me know alryt..thank you..)

I seriously down in the dumps. I cant play on my keyboard!! Now I have to go to my grandmothers’ house to play. Its not that I’m an excellent or even a good pianist. But I just love to hear the sound it makes! And singing :D. But I cant sing all the time, coz my sisters’ll complain to my parents their ears are hurting (my only fans are my mom and my youngest sister.. :D) …
Do you think its rational to get a new keyboard? Or just fix it? Okay, I have got an eye on this one keyboard I saw at a music store last month when I was in Kuala Lumpur. It’s YAMAHA. But its friggin EXPENSIVE!

Its like RM2000++ . The only way I can afford it is if I sell my old keyboard plus my TV plus the stxpid treadmill (which I have no idea why its in my room) plus my stereo plus maybe the antique aircond plus my CD collection, my encyclopedias and finally my bed. Or an easier way is to sell off my 2 year-old-to-be SONY VAiO laptop.

Oh Gosh.. I soo wish I’m already working with a stable salary of RM5000 a month!!! *bangs head on the table*

So, back to the main topic: we can’t just ‘live’ in our hard life. We should stay positive! Think of solutions to the problem we face. Be happy!
I need to get my supply of SUN-MAID raisins to overcome my depression(told u am bad at this).

P/S: dun bother checking out the meaning of “SCMECKHE GLUM BIZZMECH ”..have no meaning.. I just needed words to express my anger..

The REAL unfairness in life lies within you. :)

Often we shout that – life is unfair. Proposing that we should not be treated in this kind of manner and we deserve something more meaningful in life. Some of us bark as our needs were not being fulfilled. Others pray faithfully anticipating for good news from God. Yet, nothing happened.

Everything stays the same. Ali is still barking at his washed out Milan jersey, and Ahmad’s proceeding on to his 28th sunnah prayer.

That’s considered a tremendous holy achievement by Ahmad; considering the fact that he had not had his fardhu prayers in at least the past couple of years. 28 times 2; means he knelled to God almost 56 times; just today! AHMAZING! Oh plus, it’s been exactly 48 hours since he last had his drink. *whispers* He stays in Australia, he needs to put up with the culture *nods comprehensibly *.

Reaching his 29th now.

Yet his phone stays muted. He’s actually waiting for a call. A job promotion. If the secretary doesn’t call him by 5 p.m, means he’ll maintain his job at the 5th floor. Otherwise, up to the 7th floor he goes as the new General Manager of WhatNot Company. =)

Which lead me to a thought?

Say if I were God, would I be giving someone his dream job when he never say a simple “I love you, God” to me or maybe a “Hi God” in that matter? He’s sucha snob! And plus, he has that annoying HUMONGOUS nose which really turns me off.

Seriously, do you think I should give him what he wants? He brings no good to me. He barely praises my beauty or even say thanks for the soft wind I blew him that night while he was sleeping; when there’s a black out at his residence. Well, okay, I might consider since his mother is such a big fan of mine. Waking up late at night just to tell me how grateful she is with what I gave her and blah blah what not. Okay2 maybe… …MAYBE….

So, this will then direct us to few possible consequences.

1) Ahmad gets his job. Realize the power of God. Start being thankful by praying fardhu prayers.. bit by bit.. (which is wallahi already a good news..more than a mother could ask for)

2) Ahmad gets his job, and say “Oh God Thanks so much I love You!’ ‘ Hello, Jacob, I nailed it! Lets have some beer. Meet you at Zouk. Catch up with some pretty ladies on the dancing floor, yeah man?!! Woooooohooo!!’”

3) Ahmad didn’t get the job. Realize that he has not prayed enough. Continue praying till the girl calls him up and said it was a bloody mistake. Ahmad’s name was up all the time.

4) Ahmad didn’t get the job. Take off his hidden knee guard and curse the whole thing.

To me..Its pretty much unfair you know.. when we only find God at our own time. When we are religiously asking for him at our own convenience.. Worldly convenience. When we want Him to not flop us in our exams, when we want Him to stop the disasters (volcano, tsunami) in our country. We always find Him when we’re in trouble.

It’s unfair. He didn’t create us just to tell Him about the catastrophes in the world. We should be more appreciative at things. Don’t tell me we have been living in despair our entire lives. I mean, I’m sure there must be some happy times too. Like the day when we had fun hvg picnic with our family. Why can’t we say;

“hey God, thanks very much , I had a very fun time with my family just now. I wouldn’t mind to have such get together again. And thank you god, for giving me such a blissful and happy family with beautiful nieces. I have no way else to repay you but to pray to you for all your kindness. Btw,

“Subhanallah walhamdulillah wala ila ha illah wallahu akbar”.

I know that just a bit and simple. But for now, while I’m still at the garden with my family, packing up to go home, that’s the only way I can afford to say thanx n praise you at the same time. And God, I love you ya. :* .”

It doesn’t matter HOW you do it or HOW you say it. As long as you keep remembering God and instill the love in you for Him without having a time limit or schedule, its reaaaaally good enough. He’s always there for you. Why cant WE be there for Him at all times? Who’s the creator now buddy?

From the way I say things, it’s as if I’m trying to impose that I am good and I’m actually asking all to do the same. But the truth is, my post is based on self-experience. I’m not very grateful of what I have.

Many times, have I been given chances from God yet I took them for granted. Until I become desperate. Then I’ll come searching for God again. Its not that I forget Him. Its just that, when I want something badly then only I listen carefully to my recitation in my prayers. Then only I take my own sweet time with God. Then only I really make my time with him.

A reader asked me once in my formspring.me page: “Are you really a good girl or just pretending?”

Well, the truth is,I’m trying my best to become a good girl. Am not fully nice or good. I have my mistakes. I did some wicked things too. But I’m trying to improve myself day by day. And I’m hoping for your support too.

Kay gotto study.

i hate school btw.. n exam.. for now..

Advice taken.. :(.. but I still hate school Dad.. :(

Would you like to swing on a star
carry moonbeams home in a jar
and be better off than you are

or would you rather be a mule?

A mule is an animal with long funny ears
he kicks up at anything he hears
His back is brawny but his brain is weak
he's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak

and by the way if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule

Oh would you like to swing on a star
carry moonbeams home in a jar
and be better off than you are

or would you rather be a pig?

A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
his shoes are a terrible disgrace
He has no manners when he eats his food
He's fat and lazy and extremely rude
But if you don't care a feather or a fig
you may grow up to be a pig

Oh would you like to swing on a star
carry moonbeams home in a jar
and be better off than you are

or would you rather be a fish?

A fish won't do anything but swim in a brook
he can't write his name or read a book
to fool the people is his only thought
and though he's slippery he still gets caught
but if then that sort of life is what you wish
you may grow up to be a fish

a new kind of jumped up slippery fish

And all the monkeys aren't in the zoo
everyday you see quite a few
so you see it's all up to you,
you could be better than you are
you could be swinging on a star

WARNING: Bahasa rojak only Malaysians and maybe Singaporeans je would understand.

While I was browsing facebook just now, I encountered with someone’s page. She had a hot stunning, profile picture. Blue white tang top, with ray ban shades on. The background scenery was at a sunny beach. The glow on her face just made her look more radiant. Absolutely gorgeous!! Lucky me, her profile was public (same goes to her photos). Therefore, I was able to click on her page and see on how she truly looks without shades and a perfect weather or shall I say stalk. Results:

*jaw drop

Man, she’s truly God-geous! Her pictures; with and without shades are simply beautiful! She has attractive features and her eyes are to KILL DIE for! Wey wey.. this girl is MasyaAllah man. She’s heaven made! And photogenic too! Her poses are like ‘Wah! This girl ni boleh tahan gaya dia’.*drools*

Sometimes, aku kepengeeeen sangat2x taw nak take pictures like that. Bangsa yang posing sorang2.

But I cant….

Malu…... hehe… :”P (and takut kena BOO).:P

But if for personal files boleh lah. For my eyes only or friends yang trespass my laptop document without my permission… hmm..... /;-) ..

But to post it on facebook; tak kot… Not my style... heheh.. Most of my pictures are with friends and family and biasa2 normal pictures only. Either taken with my whole teeth showing or a –trying-to-be-sweet smile; which always end up like someone who’s having constipation.

Tu pun dah problem to some of the family members. Dibilangnye apa lah cucu Yusof Zawawi taroh taroh gambar dekat computer. *hmmm-sigh ;(*. So I dare not to the take risks. Huhu..

But I’m not saying yang what they say is wrong. No.. I respect them and totally understand that they are just trying to protect me. And I also know its true, that its not good sangat for girls to ‘publish’ her pictures for people to see. Macam nak show off gitu kan.

But you know…^_^,heheh.. sometimes I want to tell people jugak what I’m going through. Macam nak share my experience with people;like friends . And especially with my cousins. So that they’ll get to know how I’m like now and my surroundings.

Coz we are scattered all over! Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi. We only get to see each other pun like only sometimes in a year…or maybe 2 years… So I took it as a way of communication. Through comments and stuff.. you know.. And its not like I made it visible to “EVERYBODY”. Only my friends. And usually my friends bukan bangsa yang show my photos or page to others coz they know I’m a bit strict bout that.

Hahaha… lolz..Klah, enough about that. But seriously, the girl yang tadi I was talking about tu is hawt damn gorgeous. I want just her eye lashes please… Thick and long!!! ^____^

The LoneRanger

Nyaaaaa…. =3 ..Is it so weird to actually go to the café alone?

Often if I bumped into someone at the café, they’ll ask me the “ sorang je?” (alone?) question.

Hmm, thanks for asking =) . Its just that having to answer “yes” all the time makes me feel as if something’s wrong with me when I perfectly know that I’m fine. It just happened that I like doing things by myself alone (unless I need help with something). I love spending time by myself. I like to walk alone, watch movies alone, read alone. Talk alone?.. Definitely not! (bt actually sometimes I do…gosh..dats scary…) I love to have my own space at my own time. I love to think, dream and observe at things without any disturbance and disruptions.

Even so, it doesn’t mean that I don’t like to have company. I DO! In fact I LOVE them! Just make sure they speak of the same interest and are not there to waste my time.

I’m very much conserved. I like to socialize with many, but I keep just a small clique of friends to myself. I prefer hanging out with older people better though. (Haha. Hence the nicknames: Mak Cik, Tante, Halati, Gramma) But seriously.. Its because I tend to learn a lot from them. They are much wiser and more experienced in many ways. And the stuffs they talk about are of the things that fascinate me! i idolize them *hearts*.. lol..jk.. My sister tells me to not mature before my age, but you know what? I just cant wait to grow up!
